Follow-up Tasks

Within Companion, you can create follow-up tasks if any additional action is required after a case has been resolved. This allows you to record next steps, set reminders, and ensure that nothing is overlooked once the main case has been closed.

For example, you may wish to schedule a check-in with the subject of the complaint or the complainant after the resolution has been issued. Creating a follow-up task ensures this is recorded in the system and completed at the appropriate time.

Adding Follow-up Tasks

  • Navigate into the relevant case and issue the task is in relation to
  • Scroll down to Follow-up Tasks and select +Add
  • Add Task title and description
  • Add Task due date
  • Assign Task assignee
  • Click Save

The task will now appear in the case and on the assigned user’s dashboard until it has been completed.
